The Library 2030 project was founded in 2010 by Mr. Vu Tien Thap, CEO of DFURNI Furniture Joint Stock Company. Over the past 11 years, the project has undergone significant development, thanks to the dedication and contributions of many philanthropists and volunteers. And throughout these 11 years, D’FURNI has continued to sponsor and contribute all student desks, reading chairs, and books in Library 2030. This is a project that is highly regarded for its humanitarian nature, carrying great practical significance with the slogan “empowering to fly far”.
According to Mr. Vu Tien Thap, in 2010, during the beloved and frequently organized 2030 Caravan journeys spreading across the country’s roads, always associated with volunteer activities, he began to contemplate and nurture an idea, a message, and penned down a strategy for the Library 2030 project.
“Give money or knowledge, give present or create future” – this message quickly became effective and mobilized many big-hearted individuals of that time such as Go An Cuong, TAV Furniture… to contribute to furnishing the libraries. With the desire that children in remote areas can get closer to the world’s knowledge through books, through the internet system that poor regions cannot afford by themselves. The project has also helped teachers, who tirelessly devote themselves to the lectern, have more tools, have a more lively and interesting way of teaching.
After 11 years, now in 2020, D’FURNI with the brand O’FURNI continues to maintain and contribute, continuing to accompany to ensure the founder’s mission is always preserved and spread.
