The Championship Golf Tournament of Southern Family Lineage Clubs officially took place on April 7, 2022, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course. This was the first tournament organized with the participation of 15 Golf Clubs representing various Southern Family Lineages in Vietnam, including: Nguyen Family Golf Club, Le Family, Trinh – Cao Allied Families, Ho Family, Truong Family, Vu – Vo Family, Huynh – Hoang Family, Duong Family, Tran Family, Phan Family, Pham Family, Ha Family, Dao Gia, Dinh Family, and Dang Family.
With the full participation of 15 Golf Clubs representing various Southern Family Lineages in Vietnam, the tournament created a fantastic day of competition.

This tournament was organized for the first time with the participation of 15 Golf Clubs representing various Southern Family Lineages in Vietnam, along with a staggering Hole-in-One prize of up to 16 billion VND. Manager – Furniture Brand for Executives proudly sponsored this event, with CEO Vu Tien Thap also participating in the tournament as a key member of the Vu-Vo team. The tournament is held annually with the aim of providing a positive sports platform for the golfing community while facilitating meetings and exchanges among entrepreneurs and partners. It is not only an exciting and competitive event but also an opportunity for individuals to remember their roots.

In the tournament, each club consisted of 20 members, including 16 official players and 4 reserves, divided into 8 pairs for head-to-head matches using the Match Play – Fourball format (pairs compete with a handicap difference of no more than 3 HDC compared to the lowest handicap player in each team). The division of groups was as follows: Group A: Index 00 – 9.9; Group B: Index 10 – 15.5; Group C: Index 15.6 – 18.9; Group D: Index 19.0 – 22.5.
The members of the 15 teams entered the competition day with high spirits, determination, and the pride of their lineages. Everyone aimed to win the prestigious cup of the tournament.
During nearly half of the competition, golfer Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc from the Ha family Golf Club achieved a Hole in One at hole 4C, par 3, 170 yards. He received a valuable prize consisting of two cars and nearly 3 billion VND in cash. This was reported to be his fourth Hole in One, but the first at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course.

In the end, the Nguyen Family Golf Club from the Southern Family Lineage achieved 7.5 points and 48 UP, becoming the defending champion of the season. The Vu Vo Family Golf Club from the Southern Family Lineage finished second after their efforts and determination throughout a long day.

The prize-giving Gala was held on the same evening with many outstanding artistic performances and an exciting lucky draw, providing golfers with a memorable experience. The Gala Dinner featured the presence of singer Siu Black and singer-songwriter Bui Lan Huong, who presented the awards to the Nguyen Family Golf Club, the champion.
