Children are the future of our nation, but not all of them have the privilege to choose where they live, study, and grow up. Should we give money or knowledge? Should we focus on the present or create a better future? These questions weighed heavily on the mind of Mr. Vu Tien Thap, CEO of D’FURNI. Inspired by a deeply humanitarian idea, he initiated the Library 2030 project.
The early days of the project were challenging. How should they begin? Which criteria should guide their efforts to reach those truly in need? However, driven by their shared vision, a group of interior design and education professionals quickly came together. They mobilized, contributed, and personally traveled to remote locations, carrying tables, chairs, and shelves to establish libraries.
The journey ahead is long, but they believe the project will succeed and endure. The Library 2030 project has given wings to young minds, allowing them to soar. As these children grow into capable adults, they will always remember a small place – a village where they were born – a library that nurtured their intellect and connected them to the wider world. In 2010, the Library 2003 was established at the Thieng Lieng Branch of Thanh An Elementary School in Can Gio.
D’FURNI’s commitment to community initiatives like Caravan Library 2030 continues to make a positive impact. Together, they transform dreams into reality
